Fundraising strategy support

Trusts & foundations (bid writing)
We help charities and social enterprises to increase income from trusts & foundations. Sometimes this involves actually writing their funding applications, either on an ongoing or ad-hoc basis. Sometimes we simply do the setup work, including identifying new funding prospects and creating template application content. Recent clients include:

Enabling better fundraising
We help charities and social enterprises to improve their overall fundraising performance across all their income streams - this may include delivering in-house training, mentoring their fundraiser(s), writing compelling cases for support, or facilitating ethical fundraising workshops. Recent clients include:
The RAF Museum tells the story of the Royal Air Force to engage, inspire and encourage learning. We facilitated an ethical fundraising workshop to help them examine problematic philanthropy and define whether they would accept or reject donations from different sources

Save the Children UK support children to learn, grow and become who they want to be. We helped them to develop a new case for support for their systems change work.

The Winch provide support to children, young people and families across North Camden. We provided support and mentoring to their fundraising team for several years.

We worked with London Borough of Redbridge to develop a case for support for a new project to create six co-designed Community Hubs across the Borough.

YMCA Brunel Group prevent youth homelessness in Bath, Bristol, Mendip and South Somerset. We provided bid writing training to their staff team.

Batten Disease Family Association support families and raise awareness in relation to Batten disease. We mentored their sole fundraiser for several years.

Developing trading activities (earned income)
We enable charities and social enterprises to diversify their income generation by creating or scaling up trading activities that capitalise on their skills, expertise and lived experience. Recent clients include:
Valley Leisure provides facilities and services so people in Hampshire can move more and feel better. We helped them to scope out a new online, on-demand subscription model.

working at the heart of sexual & reproductive health. We designed a series of workshops to help their team explore new income opportunities and think more entrepreneurially.

Zebra UNO provides media, communication and interpreting services, aiming to break down barriers for deaf people. We helped them to fully evaluate and prioritise a number of new income generation opportunities that they'd been considering.
