CHARITY & FUNDRAISING CASE STUDIES
CDP (strategic consultancy & faciliation)CDP is a global NGO and UK-registered charity that focuses investors, companies, cities and
governments on building a sustainable economy, by measuring and acting on their environmental impact. We worked with their Cities, States and Regions Team to design and facilitate a three-day, in-person workshop to create their new strategy and discuss key challenges and opportunities.

LEAP Norwich (strategic consultancy & faciliation)LEAP was a social enterprise with a big vision, helping people in Norwich who faced disadvantage to find education, employment and accommodation. We helped them to develop an interim strategy during a tricky transition period, providing vital focus and reassurance to the team. We ran two strategic planning workshops for LEAP, involving staff at all levels of the organisation.

Unity Works (fundraising strategy support)Unity Works supports people with a learning disability to gain skills, achieve qualifications and secure jobs, so they can reach their full potential. We started working with them when the charity was still called The Camden Society. We supported them to create a long-term fundraising strategy, build and mentor a new fundraising team, and increase their grant funding. They secured over £600,000 in the first two years.

Bridges for Communities (fundraising strategy support)Bridges for Communities, based in Bristol, brings together people of different cultures and faiths to increase tolerance and understanding. They also run a befriending service for refugees and asylum seekers. We guided senior staff and trustees through a process to create a new three-year fundraising strategy, design a case for support, and identify new funding prospects. This saw the charity's income grow by over 50% in 12 months.

Worldwide Cancer Research (trusts & foundations support)Worldwide Cancer Research is a UK charity that aims to end cancer through pioneering 'discovery research' that is the starting point for new lifesaving cures and treatments. We undertook an in-depth review of their trusts fundraising and guided them to create a new trusts & foundations strategy, a pipeline of potential new funders, and a long-term cultivation plan for building relationships with major strategic funders.

Copenhagen Youth Project (trusts & foundations support)CYP provides a safe, caring, youth-led space for disadvantaged young people from the Caledonian & Barnsbury ward of North London. We initially helped them to create a three-year business plan, fundraising strategy and case for support, and have since enabled them to secure a large, multi-year grant from National Lottery Reaching Communities, as well as a further £210,000 in other grant funding.
