We achieve this by providing a range of consultancy services, fundraising support and training.
- Strategic consultancy and facilitation: support to create your business plan, facilitate an 'away day' or strategy day for your senior management team or Board, run a consultation process, and develop your theory of change.
- Fundraising strategy and income generation: support to create your long-term fundraising strategy, review fundraising performance, develop trading activities, create your case for support, and develop an ethical fundraising policy. We also provide mentoring, training and ongoing support to fundraisers.
- Trusts and foundations: support to set up your trusts fundraising from scratch, improve your existing approach, write or review funding applications, identify new funders for your work, and create compelling template application content.
- Training: we deliver a broad range of online and in-person training courses on fundraising strategy, trusts and foundations (i.e. bid writing) and other types of fundraising. Our training is suitable for fundraisers, senior management and trustees.
We're also proud to be an ally and advocate for the voluntary sector.

We've dedicated loads of time to creating a regular fundraising and strategy blog, a fundraising podcast and a set of fundraising helpsheets - these resources are all free for everyone to access. We try to be both practical and provocative - sharing tips and how-to-guides, but also opinion pieces on topics such as ethical philanthropy and grantmaking best practice. We're also proud to be a founding member of the Small Charity Friendly Collective, an informal collective of small charity specialists who have come together to provide dedicated and trusted support to small charities, and commit to a shared set of small charity friendly values, following the closure of the Small Charities Coalition in 2022. |
