Mike ZywinaDirector & Strategy ConsultantMike has 15 years' experience in the sector as a fundraiser, consultant, senior manager and trustee. He created Lime Green Consulting in 2014. Mike runs our training courses for charities and social enterprises and helps to design major funding bids, with a particular track record in securing Lottery funding. As our strategy specialist, Mike brings together groups of people online and in-person to make better strategic decisions, by asking the right questions to bring structure to their planning and draw out the best aspects of their work. He also helps organisations to develop a more sustainable funding base and prioritise the best income opportunities, so they can thrive in a challenging financial climate. |
Ally ReaAssociate Consultant (Bid writing)Ally is a marketing and fundraising professional with over 15 years' experience for charities large and small. She has broad experience in communications, strategic and operational roles across the arts, heritage, disability, health and media sectors. Ally is our resident arts fundraising expert, with experience not only in bid writing, prospect research and corporate partnerships, but also on the other side of the desk assessing funding applications for Arts Council England. She acts an energetic and strategic critical friend for the organisations she works with, as well as delivering many of our training courses. |
Rachel IrelandAssociate Consultant (Bid writing)Rachel has worked with not-for-profit organisations for over 16 years, specialising in both public sector and trusts fundraising. Following a role at The Prince’s Trust as Head of Fundraising, Rachel has worked with charities and social enterprises of all sizes, including those supporting children and young people, mental health and wellbeing, social welfare, and the arts. She is experienced at prospect research, competitor analysis, bid writing, and delivering training for those at the early stages of running a not-for-profit. Rachel is driven by the desire to use her skills and experience to help people make a positive difference in the world. |
Ruth RichardsonAssociate Consultant (Bid writing)Ruth has held leadership roles in the voluntary sector since 2010, specialising in operations and fundraising. Her career has spanned disability, mental health, older people, legal advice and sexual violence organisations. Alongside being a Lime Green Associate, Ruth holds a Director of Fundraising role for a national disability charity. Ruth has raised over £7million from trusts and foundations in her career, including securing significant, multi-year National Lottery funding. Ruth particularly enjoys working with small and medium-sized charities to better demonstrate their impact and increase sustainability through diverse fundraising approaches. Lorraine PatchAssociate Consultant (Bid writing)Lorraine specialises in working with small charities on prospect research and developing proposals, cases for support and fundraising strategies. She has worked with charities and social enterprises operating within healthcare, social welfare, human rights, international development, youth work, counselling and mental health, education and environment. Lorraine previously ran the funding information and advice service for an infrastructure charity, and has also managed a mental health grants fund, giving her helpful insights into the funder’s perspective. Lorraine currently lives in Australia, so is only available for projects where location and time difference are no barrier! |
Kianu GlasgowAssociate Consultant (Strategy)Kianu is an ambitious and altruistic social entrepreneur, trainer and workshop facilitator, with a passion for youth and community projects. She has worked with numerous youth organisations and charities, providing them with skills training, project management, community engagement, grant administration and evaluation support. Kianu set up her own social enterprise to provide mentoring, careers support and access to creative opportunities for young people in East London. She is also a trustee for two charities. Kianu has joined the Lime Green team to put this experience to good use by supporting organisations with strategy development and workshop facilitation. Emma GouldsAssociate Consultant (Bid writing)Emma Goulds has 18 years of leadership and management experience in the charity and NGO sector. Her career spans international development, violence against women and girls, social housing, social enterprise and youth work. Emma has worked with start-up projects through to large established charities, on fundraising development, strategic planning, impact reporting and service design. Alongside her consultancy work, she currently job-shares the CEO role of a small charity that she co-founded, working with women who have experienced sexual exploitation. |
Mollie BorgAssociate Consultant (Bid writing)Mollie is a trusts fundraising consultant with a track record of securing high-value, multi-year grants towards both core and project costs. Mollie typically works with small to medium charities, particularly those within the healthcare, disability, mental health and children & young people sectors. She has successfully secured funding from Children In Need, Lottery Reaching Communities and Garfield Weston Foundation, among others. Mollie has a deep-rooted passion for the third sector, and is also known for her prospect research skills, excellent time management and attention to detail, ensuring that deadlines are met and projects are successfully executed. |
