Mike ZywinaDirector & Strategy ConsultantMike has 15 years' experience in the sector as a fundraiser, consultant, senior manager and trustee. He created Lime Green Consulting in 2014. Mike runs our training courses for charities and social enterprises and helps to design major funding bids, with a particular track record in securing Lottery funding. As our strategy specialist, Mike brings together groups of people online and in-person to make better strategic decisions, by asking the right questions to bring structure to their planning and draw out the best aspects of their work. He also helps organisations to develop a more sustainable funding base and prioritise the best income opportunities, so they can thrive in a challenging financial climate. |
Ally ReaAssociate Consultant (Bid writing)Ally is a marketing and fundraising professional with over 15 years' experience for charities large and small. She has broad experience in communications, strategic and operational roles across the arts, heritage, disability, health and media sectors. Ally is our resident arts fundraising expert, with experience not only in bid writing, prospect research and corporate partnerships, but also on the other side of the desk assessing funding applications for Arts Council England. She's an energetic and strategic critical friend, who loves to see a plan come together. |
Gemma PettmanAssociate Consultant (Training)Gemma helps charities to raise both their profile and vital funds. She's supported causes ranging from city farms to youth unemployment. Demonstrating impact through storytelling is a crucial part of Gemma’s work, which is always an asset when it comes to applying for funding. As well as raising much-needed income, she has received praise from funders for her use of sincere and straightforward language. Gemma delivers many of our training courses, lending her expertise to help charities and social enterprises improve their bid writing, case for support and relationship-building with funders. |
Rachel IrelandAssociate Consultant (Bid writing)Rachel has worked with not-for-profit organisations for over 16 years, specialising in both public sector and trusts fundraising. Following a role at The Prince’s Trust as Head of Fundraising, Rachel has worked with charities and social enterprises of all sizes, including those supporting children and young people, mental health and wellbeing, social welfare, and the arts. She is experienced at prospect research, competitor analysis, bid writing, and delivering training for those at the early stages of running a not-for-profit. Rachel is driven by the desire to use her skills and experience to help people make a positive difference in the world. |
Emma GouldsAssociate Consultant (Bid writing)Emma Goulds has 18 years of leadership and management experience in the charity and NGO sector. Her career spans international development, violence against women and girls, social housing, social enterprise and youth work. Emma has worked with start-up projects through to large established charities, on fundraising development, strategic planning, impact reporting and service design. Alongside her consultancy work, she currently job-shares the CEO role of a small charity that she co-founded, working with women who have experienced sexual exploitation. |
Lorraine PatchAssociate Consultant (Bid writing)Lorraine cut her fundraising teeth in various roles at health, social justice and international development charities. She's written successful bids for DFID, The National Lottery Community Fund, small family trusts and corporate foundations. Having also worked in front-line operational roles, Lorraine knows the importance of grant funding for smaller charities, and loves writing proposals that bring projects to life. Her time in international programme development means that she also brings expertise in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, budget design and capacity building. |
